ABOUT
I’m Ghazal Abbasi, a 22-year-old photography student from Shiraz, Iran. Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I started taking photos in 2016 to express my artistic sensitivity and explore the world around me. For me, photography is nothing but experience, and I will always consider myself a student of this art.
Growing up in a family of hidden artists, I was drawn to photography and art from an early age, despite my family's focus on other fields. I received a photography certificate from Shiraz University and began street photography at the age of 14. After three years of street and documentary photography and a year at PANA news agency, I transitioned into fine art and conceptual photography. I am currently studying photography at Shiraz Institute of Higher Education of Art.
My work has been published in several magazines and featured on various websites, and I have participated in several group exhibitions. You can find my CV in PDF format at the end of my website, available for download.
